TAGS: discount iphone, Apple, Walmart

Effective, December 28th, 2008 consumers will find iPhones two dollars off the original price at Wal-mart.   In an effort to stimulate sales, offset losses, and quell concerns of an economic downturn, the union between an unlikely partnership: Wal-Mart and Apple presents  two reduced priced iPhone 3G models:

  • 8GB iPhone in black for $197
  • 16GB iPhone in black or white for $297

Although, the aforementioned iPhones are  $2 less than the retail price at Apple or AT & T stores, the discount requires a two-year contract with the telecommunications, conglomerate, AT & T.
