Instead of standing inline to make a few Christmas purchases, some American parents found themselves on Black Friday returning hazardous recalled toys. This year, millions of toys manufactured in China have been recalled. Renowned toy makers, such as Fisher Price, Mattel, Spin Master along with 58 other toy brands have been unable to escape the epidemic of lead based, faulty other dangerous and toy product manufacturing.
FACT: More than 25 million toys were recalled from October 2006 through September 2007.
Here are five recommendations for smart Christmas toy shopping and consumer toy safety tips:
• Do not purchase toys with small pieces that fit in a child’s mouth (under the age of three)
