Home Insurance Deductibles Get Restrictive

You know the commercial where the consumer contacts their insurance company to report the damage of a fallen tree. It’s the one where the agent notifies the insurer that only fichus trees are covered on the policy. The television spot is not far off from the reality of high deductibles. Since Hurricane Katrina, more insurers are forwarding the financial burden of a potential disaster onto the policy holders. For instance, review the list of insurance deductible changes:
