Consumer Health Alert Male Beware of 5-Warning Signs
Categories: Men’s health, male health, medical warning signs
As far as taking care of health, many men put their careers, cars and family before their overall well-being. An early diagnosis can be the difference between an easy cure and a critical recovery. Take heed to these five-medical warning signs:
Unintentional Weight Loss
Although unintentional weight loss may seem appealing, it could be the sign of another medical problem (in example: cancer, parasite or an overactive thyroid).
Chest Pain
– The feeling of a crushing, heavy pain on the chest is warning sign to seek immediate medical care.
Shortness of Breath
While shortness of breath is associated with exertion subsequent to exercise is normal, it is irregular after walking a short distance, reclining, or climbing a flight of stairs. Regular feelings of being short of breath are indicative of a weak hear to congestive heart failure.
Frequent Urination and Urinary Changes
Frequent nocturnal interruptions to urinate, a feeble stream of urine or difficulty starting urination indicate the potential of an enlarged prostate.
Bloody Stools/Blood in Urine
From an infection, stones, cysts or even an inflammation, bloody stools and blood in the urine -- call for a doctor’s visit.
Schedule a doctor’s appointment if you notice any of the above conditions. Also, remember to watch for any minor changes in health and consult your physician.
