Zicam Flu Cold Remedy Packaging Flaw
Categories: Zicam, cold, flu, remedy, homeopathic, zinc
Dear Zicam,
For a longtime, I have been a loyal Zicam advocate. I've recommended your product to anyone on the verge of suffering from the flu or a cold. Beating influenza for two-years, recently I caught a killer cold and was morbidly astonished to find that your packaging has changed.
While I have used the nasal pump to squash allergy symptoms, I do not feel comfortable placing the same nozzle up my nostril when battling a virus. (For sanitary reasons, it seems like re-contaminating or infecting oneself).
As a result, the packets seemed like the optimal packaging choice to squash my cold. From my recollection, the tubes were by far more effective. The new Zicam pouches are hazardous. For starter's, opening a packet is far to complicated. The perforated tear is inept. Once the packet is opened removing the Zicam wand is as tedious as performing surgery. And once it's extracted, there's so little Zicam saline that it makes the entire process futile.
In conclusion, I highly recommend that Zicam change thier packaging back to the easy-to-use tube.
Sincerely,
A Concerned consumer
(PS -- Please know that this letter is not meant to complain about your product).
