Just about everything the American consumer buys these days is traceable, accounted for and monitored. Did you know that all newly issued United States Passports come with radio frequency identification (RFID)?
It means that these technologically enhanced passports are equipped with a barcode of sorts, chock full of Americans’ personal information (age, weight, nationality, address, social security and more).
Here’s a list of other popular American brand names with RFID integrated into the product:
• Abercrombie and Fitch
• Calvin Klein
• Huggies baby wipes
• Kleenex
• Grocery, Retail and Warehouse Loyalty Membership Cards
• Library books
• Oxycontin (prescription bottles)
• Toyotas (manufactured after 2004)
• Viagra (medicine bottles)
