1st Battery Recall of 2007

On Thursday, March 1, 2007 another worldwide lithium-ion battery recall was issued by Leonova. The voluntary recall includes some 205,000, extended-life 9-cell batteries. Used in Lenova's ThinkPad laptops, the product recall warns that the battery is susceptible to overheating and triggering a hazardous fire.
