Flight Delay Report - 2006

During November, U.S. airlines experienced a number of more flight delays than seen any other month of 2006. According to the Department of Transportation's monthly Air Travel Consumer Report, on-time arrivals plunged to 76.5 percent in November compared to 80 percent previously -- in the year. Here are other airline travel delay facts:

→ → In the month of November 2006, 1.6 percent of scheduled domestic flights where canceled.

→ → Aloha Airlines scored a 93.2 percent on-time schedule.

→ → Hawaiian Air landed in second place with a 90.9 percent on-time arrival and departure rate,

→ → In third place for timely flight arrivals, Frontier Airlines came in at 87.1 percent.

→ → Airlines with the lowest on-time arrival rate included: Atlantic Southeast Airlines at 65.7 percent and Comair at 66.8 percent.
