Wine Review: Hess 2002 Collection Cabernet Sauvignon

Categories: Wine review, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red wine, wine.com, Hess Collection,

It's not the type of wine that needs to be enjoyed in one sitting. It's the kind of Cabernet Sauvignon that has the potential structure to thrive and blossom over the next decade. Harvested and derived from Napa Valley, the complexity of this red vino renders a culmination of aromas.

There's the astounding taste of cherries, blackberry and cassis with a seething undercurrent of mint-like wintergreen. But the trace of dark chocolate, ensconced with mountain tannins, makes this cab mouthwatering at best.

Consumer Tip on Wine: For the best taste decant the Hess 2002 Collection Cabernet Sauvignon - Red Wine thirty minutes prior to serving.
