Look out Walgreens, CVS, and Riteaid.com, Wal-mart's new prescription discount may put a dent in your drug sales.


Very soon American consumers will be able to reap the mega prescription discounts offered by Wal-Mart. The magnate, of general stores, plans to roll out a discount plan offering some 300 generic drugs for only $4 per month. Wal-Mart's new incentive will help reduce health care costs and simultaneously boost its consumer rating. As the discounted prescription program starts in Tampa, Wal-Mart plans to expand these savings nationwide in 2007.
