American Consumers Get Satisfaction

Finally, it appears as though Americans are reporting more consumer satisfaction. According to the The University of Michigan's American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), American consumers are content with a wide spectrum of products they use. Across the board from cars, computers - to search engines, the winners are Toyota Motor's, Apple and Google.

All three giants, gained a popularity score above 80. For the second second, straight year, Toyota topped the charts with an 87 point approval rating, while Google went from 82 (last year - 2005) to 81. Meanwhile, Apple maintained it a solid consumer satisfaction score at 83, for the third consecutive year, above Dell and Hewlett Packard and Compaq.
